Jack Suddards - VP Technology
Jack has been working in the Information Technology field since the early ’70s. During his career he has managed the transition from traditional, manual systems through the mainframe, mini-computer and microcomputer eras. His technical experience includes development work from mainframe batch to advanced client-server systems, including web page design and development.
As Senior Manager, Information Technology for a Crown Corporation of the Province of Alberta, Jack built the department from its beginnings (one person) to a complement of sixteen. In 1994, after a merger with another Crown Corporation, the entire IT function was outsourced to a consulting company. Jack continued to manage the outsourcing contract until his decision to leave government and move to private industry in 1999.
His experience, his passion about technology, his personal maturity and values based principles, and his introduction to enCompassing Visions first as a customer, makes him well suited to assume the technology lead for enCompassing Visions™.
